Core Values

To be diverse..

To be a church that looks like Heaven!

There are five reasons why we purposely want to be a diverse community.

Diversity is a commandment and mandate from Jesus Christ

The Great Commission is what Jesus charges us to do and that is “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Making disciples is only half part of the commission the other half of the charge mandates us to reach all nations. Which the word nation has been drawn from the greek word ethos, which is where we get ethnics, whereas it being the root word for ethnicities.

The need for a diverse church in Elk Grove CA

According to City of Elk Grove “Elk Grove is a vibrant, business and family friendly community of approximately 168,000 people in the Sacramento, California region. Elk Grove is a young, ethnically diverse, modern city that was incorporated in 2000. Elk Grove has been ranked as the 7th most racially diverse city in the country”.

Diversity represents a place where everyone's welcomed

We all leave of our homes at some point in time to either go shopping, go to work, and or even go to school. Within our everyday life we are around or come in contact with many people that are diverse. With this being the case Faithpointe will be a place where you will be able to express and enjoy not only your diversity but as well as those around you.

Diversity models a spirit of unity

The church Antioch found in Acts 13 paints a great picture of what diversity does. The church in Antioch showed Christ-like behavior to what brought forth a spirit of unity. Not only did the church love God and each other they loved those who weren’t like them also.

A diverse church is what God called us to built

The call to reach the lost has been given to us all however, the call for Faithpointe to be a diverse community is something that God called us to built. A church that is diverse all around and is an image of what Heaven would be.

To be spirit-filled..

It's our intention to be a spirit-filled, driven church that is modeled

after the church spoken in Acts 2:42-47. We accomplish this by seven key factors.

Being devoted to Christ and each other

(v.42) What we do for Christ we do it without any reservations. We have fellowship with one another, and not just on Sunday gatherings.

Allowing our worship to be the gateway to God’s presence

(v.43) In our times of worship we strive for awe moments to where we know God has meet us

Allowing signs and wonders to manifest

(v.43) We make room for the gifts of the spirit to be in operation in all of our gatherings weather if it is a rehearsal or a Sunday meeting the Holy Spirit has full control.

Having unity through our diversity

(v.44) Though we may come from different backgrounds one thing we will have in common amongst each other and that is to be and do all that Christ asks of us individuals as well as collective.

Giving sacrificially without any regrets.

(v.45) We will be a giving church that not only gives locally but give globally as well.

Intentionally building a community.

(v.46) We will come together as a family for times of enrichment in and outside of our church campus.

Growing a God-sized growth

(v.47) We will not be limited in what we do for Christ to obtain continuous growth within our community

To be Gospel centered..

Everything that we do and who we are at Faithpointe will tie back to the Gospel! This is ultimately the greatest picture of Love. The death, the burial, and resurrection of Christ shows us how God loved us so that He gave His only son for us

To be a community of faith..

Be it known that Faithpointe will be a place where miracles do happen based on the measures of faith that our community holds. Faithpointe will be known for being a place that healings occur frequently, families are restored, financial liberties happen, chains are broken, and bondages are destroyed.

Believers of Jesus Christ..

We are in love with Christ! WHO HE IS, WHAT HE HAS DONE, AND WHAT HE WILL DO. Faithpointe will do all that we can to express our love and gratitude towards Christ with intentions that those we come in contact with will want to experience it as well.

Grow together while doing life together..

Growing and doing life together as a community will be a staple of who we are and strive to be. We see this happening in five ways.

Helping each other grow spiritually

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)

Learning to pray together

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” (1 John 5:14)

Studying the Bible together

“So Philip ran to him and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?”” (Acts 8:30)

Sharing our lives with each other

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalms 133:1)

Meeting in each others house

(Faith-house). A “Faith-house” is a Faith House where believers and non believers meet simply to build each other up in community. “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house”… (Acts 2:42)
